This is brilliant! I'd never even considered doing that way! It' looks like a real timesaver with much less trial and error (and unpicking!) than the way I've been doing it.

Oh my gossssssssh I don't often comment on DD's but I have to tell you thank you a zillion times thank you! Always I wanted to understand pattern making and you've gone and provided just this for me. I had no idea how to get started and now I do. :glomp:
